Visitor Center

Saratoga National Historical Park  
Revolutionary War battlefield National Park. Site of the battles of Saratoga, ranking among the fifteen most decisive battles in world history.

Brookside Museum  
In nearby Ballston Spa. Operated by Saratoga County Historical Society.

Grant Cottage  
A preserved Victorian summer cottage where President U.S. Grant spent the last weeks of his life finishing his memoirs. He died there on July 23, 1885. Only a few miles north of town.

National Bottle Museum  
Ballston Spa. A great exibit of antique bottles and bottle-making tools. About five miles from Saratoga Springs.

SARATOGA SPRINGS AREA NATURE WALKS


Bog Meadow Nature Trail  
A walk though wetlands along an abandoned trolley track.

Woods Hollow Nature Preserve  
Right down the road from us in Milton ... hiking trails and a lake with a fishing pier.

Wilton Wildlife Preserve  
Glacial Lake Albany terrain and a Karner Blue butterfly habitat.

Saratoga Spa State Park  
Very crowded in the summer, but a great place to walk during the rest of the year or cross-country ski in winter.
